Pneumatic Rise and Fall Doors
Centreline Rise and Fall Doors are pneumatic systems designed to provide a physical barrier for automated manufacturing processes. Each system delivers a secure, aesthetic, and cost-effective solution to guarding machinery that at the point of entry requires frequent operator access.
Our Rise and Fall Doors are commonly installed for
- Robot cell stations
- Part assembly
- Power press and conveyor loading
- Conveyor openings.
With each Rise and Fall Door, a 'safe edge' system can be fitted to return the door to its open position should the closure sequence be interrupted. As standard, we supply two safety limit switches that should be interlocked into the machine circuitry to interlock the door system. Interlocking prevents machine operation until the door is completely secure. We have a wide range of safety features available to install depending on the usage and safety requirements of the system.
The selection of infill materials is dependent on two key areas the first is the potential hazards needing containment and two the usage of the system. Each rise and fall door uses a high-quality aluminium extrusion frame with infill options comprising of sheet steel, poly-carbonate, glass, or a mixture of the three. Welded or woven mesh is not considered a suitable material due to the risk posed by panel movement and the inherent trapping hazard that this would create.
All our systems are compliant to the latest machine directives as standard and can be accompanied with a decoration of conformity.
